I still remember one of this incident in my Guitar class during the days of my school.

There was this new student who had joined guitar classes. He was a slightly older chap in comparison to most of the others in the class. Even before he started the class, he look at the teacher and asked, “Sir, in how many days will be able to master the Guitar”?

Our guitar teacher looked at him for a few seconds and then said smilingly. “It depends upon how passionate you are to play the Guitar”.

“Passion” can be a huge force. It can be the fuel to getting you to do things that you would otherwise not even have imagined your could do.

And when it comes to something like Podcasting, where staying focused needs a lot of motivation, “being passionate” can play a huge role. In fact, if you are passionate about what you are doing, your podcast might just end up getting a few lakh listens in a couple of months.

Don’t believe me?

Then you might want to listen to Chethan, who podcast achieved that feat and is still being streamed and listened to on multiple platforms.

Chethan’s podcast was a gamechanger. The sheer courage to attempt something like that needed more than just passion. You had to be crazy about your passion to achieve something that he did.

“Karma is a witch”, was the first 3D non-narrative and immersive Podcast. In fact it was the first dramatized podcast, at least to my knowledge and also the first studio quality podcast in Kannada.

With so many firsts, especially in a world like that of “Podcasting” and that too in India, where everything was uncertain about 2 years back, Chethan did what very few would do.

In this episode, we talk to Chethan and understand the secret behind the success of “Karma is a witch”.
