Did you know that podcasts with the purpose of bringing about a social change are the ones with the most listenerships?

That’s right.

And this week we are talking to a guest who runs a podcast in that niche.

But before we dive in, let me ask you a question.

As a 17-year-old, where were you in terms of figuring out what you wanted to do with your life?

The youth of today seems to have figured it out much earlier than we had done. In fact, they are doing it in their teens.

I happened to talk to 3 such teenagers in the last month or, so and I was surprised to see how focused they were.

They seemed to have a well-thought-out plan.

And it is the case with this special guest that we have on our show today.

I happened to listen to his podcast a couple of months back and I was amazed at his energy and enthusiasm.

His show is in the social cause niche and he interviews people from different walks of life exploring how they and their works are influencing society.

This week we have Lakshit Kankariya from the show “Multipurpose with Lakshit”, talking to us about his journey in podcasting.

A Podcast with a Purpose – Multipurpose with Lakshit

One of the core foundations for a successful podcast is a purpose and probably that is why most podcasts that have a social cause attached to it, gathers a lot of listenership.

There are many such podcasts out there that were started with the sole purpose of addressing a social issue and building a community around it.

And almost all such podcasts have done well and have a decent listenership.

The fact that the expectations of these podcasters are simple and straightforward, means that they continue churning out episodes after episodes without really being bothered about how many people are listening to their show or, how much money they might make from it.

It is the same with Multipurpose with Lakshit as well.

It is a simple podcast run with the sole motive of creating awareness among people.

Lakshit, who runs this show is a 17-year old Veganpreneur (Vegan + entrepreneur), as he likes to call himself.

He is from Bangalore and runs a small business, “PaapMukt” which is about Vegan food and Vegan eating. He is the winner of the Hubhopper Podcast Awards 2021 and also an Asia and India book record holder.

You can follow his podcast “Multipurpose with Lakshit”, on any of your favorite podcasting platforms.

He also runs a Youtube channel where too, he posts his podcasts. You can subscribe to it here.

1

00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:00,759

Dilip: Hi Lakshit.

2

00:00:00,780 --> 00:00:05,790

Welcome to the podcasting university

on a Sunday morning, and it is going

3

00:00:05,790 --> 00:00:07,140

to be an interesting conversation.

4

00:00:07,140 --> 00:00:10,996

I know that and hoping that

you enjoy it as much as I do.

5

00:00:11,326 --> 00:00:13,786

So once again, welcome to

the podcasting university.

6

00:00:14,381 --> 00:00:14,771

Lakshit: Thank you.

7

00:00:14,801 --> 00:00:15,941

Thank you very much for having me.

8

00:00:16,231 --> 00:00:20,191

So, it's a pleasure to be here and really

glad that we're doing it on a Sunday

9

00:00:20,191 --> 00:00:22,161

morning and yeah, I'm hoping the same.

10

00:00:22,211 --> 00:00:25,931

Let's hope for having a wonderful

conversation, learn from each other like

11

00:00:25,931 --> 00:00:27,021

I learn from you and you learn from me..

12

00:00:27,021 --> 00:00:30,633

Dilip: So just to get started Lakshit

and, this is a ritual we usually follow.

13

00:00:30,633 --> 00:00:33,203

So, I would like to know more about you.

14

00:00:33,231 --> 00:00:39,051

What is it that you do and how did

multipurpose with luxury happen and the

15

00:00:39,051 --> 00:00:43,625

entire story behind all of this and a

little bit about what you do other than.

16

00:00:44,270 --> 00:00:44,840

Podcasting.

17

00:00:45,530 --> 00:00:45,970

Lakshit: Sure, sure.

18

00:00:46,640 --> 00:00:49,790

I'm Lakshit a 17 year

old boy from Bangalore.

19

00:00:49,820 --> 00:00:53,533

Just, just trying to figure out a

lot of things and things happening

20

00:00:53,543 --> 00:00:56,663

around the world problems in

a lot of the different stuff.

21

00:00:57,583 --> 00:01:00,363

So Podcasting was not an idea,

of course, similar thing where I

22

00:01:00,363 --> 00:01:04,353

speak with people about problems

in what's happening in the society.

23

00:01:04,377 --> 00:01:09,597

But then it eventually turned it into

podcast, but the reason to start it was,

24

00:01:09,659 --> 00:01:17,189

I was in France in the year of 2018 and 19

doing cultural exchange and when I back.

25

00:01:17,429 --> 00:01:19,919

It was a huge, huge cultural shock here.

26

00:01:20,069 --> 00:01:22,479

When I came back, why

is it that people are.

27

00:01:22,479 --> 00:01:27,129

not understanding what's the

problem are not aware, about

28

00:01:27,149 --> 00:01:28,349

what's happening in the society.

29

00:01:28,499 --> 00:01:30,659

Or why aren't they speaking

about the problems happening?

30

00:01:31,679 --> 00:01:36,129

So, and a lot of these things were

trying to kind of making, me worried

31

00:01:36,149 --> 00:01:37,545

then I was kind of feeling bad.

32

00:01:37,545 --> 00:01:38,395

This is what's happening.

33

00:01:38,395 --> 00:01:39,155

What can we do?

34

00:01:39,155 --> 00:01:40,085

What can I do?

35

00:01:41,075 --> 00:01:43,265

That's the question I

posed myself every day.

36

00:01:43,265 --> 00:01:46,715

Every minute, whenever I saw

something happening wrong near me,

37

00:01:47,235 --> 00:01:50,335

and I thought, okay, what's

the solution for this?

38

00:01:50,362 --> 00:01:53,572

I, I believe in that if there is

any kind of problem in the society,

39

00:01:53,572 --> 00:01:57,076

that solution could be found only

when you speak about the problem.

40

00:01:57,076 --> 00:02:02,506

Thought of getting activists and people

who are doing something in the field

41

00:02:02,506 --> 00:02:03,946

of say a lot of, different things.

42

00:02:03,976 --> 00:02:09,649

Let's say feminism, and let's say the

LGBTQ rights ,vegan movement and climate

43

00:02:09,649 --> 00:02:11,252

change and all of that different thing.

44

00:02:11,273 --> 00:02:15,026

men rights movement and all

of those various things.

45

00:02:16,126 --> 00:02:20,086

When I explored about it when I was

checking and thinking what can be done.

46

00:02:20,651 --> 00:02:24,097

I went onto the website

of the better India.

47

00:02:24,097 --> 00:02:28,020

I found the story of two old

men around 82-83 years, who were

48

00:02:28,050 --> 00:02:29,850

like, they had a wonderful job.

49

00:02:29,880 --> 00:02:31,920

The person I had on my podcast.

50

00:02:31,920 --> 00:02:36,420

I think the first person he worked

at ITC and I think he was at a very,

51

00:02:36,420 --> 00:02:38,730

very big and high level at that point.

52

00:02:39,120 --> 00:02:41,860

And then he had retired

and then he was living.

53

00:02:42,620 --> 00:02:47,720

So he had so much money and he had

done so much things in his life, but

54

00:02:47,720 --> 00:02:49,040

he was working for the community.

55

00:02:49,350 --> 00:02:50,790

By just random thing.

56

00:02:50,790 --> 00:02:54,820

He and his friend went for walking

and for no reason simply just the y

57

00:02:54,820 --> 00:02:57,923

get a chance to, visit a government

school and they see how toilets

58

00:02:59,113 --> 00:03:01,628

are there, like broken toilets

no door, no toilet for women.

59

00:03:01,648 --> 00:03:06,808

Even if there is a toilet, there is

no proper doors which can be closed.

60

00:03:07,138 --> 00:03:10,129

And a girl has to stand when

other girl goes into the washroom.

61

00:03:10,129 --> 00:03:11,239

So nobody enters in.

62

00:03:11,749 --> 00:03:16,679

So these all things kind of made them

feel bad and they want to do something.

63

00:03:17,019 --> 00:03:21,868

So after everything when they got, you

know, they were retired already, so they

64

00:03:22,138 --> 00:03:27,664

went they collected funds from people

and through those funds, they constructed

65

00:03:27,724 --> 00:03:29,974

a lot of washrooms in bathrooms.

66

00:03:29,974 --> 00:03:33,117

And you know in the schools like they

have, I think they've done these old

67

00:03:33,117 --> 00:03:38,907

men who are around 83, 84, are standing

whole day in sun and seeing that how

68

00:03:38,907 --> 00:03:43,289

the work is happening and they collect

funds for next five years that so that

69

00:03:43,289 --> 00:03:47,879

the maintenance is also seen and the

washroom is not broken by the children

70

00:03:47,929 --> 00:03:49,209

so anything such should not happen?

71

00:03:49,749 --> 00:03:51,579

So they do all of that.

72

00:03:51,889 --> 00:03:53,159

So it just inspired.

73

00:03:53,159 --> 00:03:56,519

Their story was inspiring and I wrote

them an email and they were happy.

74

00:03:56,819 --> 00:04:00,009

And that was the first

episode, which I started with.

75

00:04:00,050 --> 00:04:03,512

Of course it was, it was before COVID,

it was in Camera and all of that.

76

00:04:04,492 --> 00:04:05,282

Things have changed now.

77

00:04:05,582 --> 00:04:07,051

So those stories inspired me.

78

00:04:07,051 --> 00:04:09,841

Those stories said that there are some

people who are trying to do something

79

00:04:10,171 --> 00:04:13,781

and why not reach out to those people

who are trying to do something.

80

00:04:14,429 --> 00:04:16,799

So more and more such people, activists.

81

00:04:16,829 --> 00:04:18,479

And then I went to podcasting.

82

00:04:18,479 --> 00:04:22,889

Now multipurpose has become, multi-purpose

where I explore all different kinds of,

83

00:04:22,939 --> 00:04:27,414

activist movements, entrepreneurs, actors

and celebrities, creators and all of that.

84

00:04:27,444 --> 00:04:30,474

So yeah, that's what multipurpose

with Laskhit is all about.

85

00:04:30,954 --> 00:04:31,614

And yeah.

86

00:04:31,614 --> 00:04:34,157

So I think in this November,

we'll be completing our two

87

00:04:34,157 --> 00:04:35,638

years of making podcasts.

88

00:04:36,628 --> 00:04:37,168

Dilip: Amazing.

89

00:04:37,408 --> 00:04:42,788

So did it start as multi-purpose with

Lakshit or did you change the name in

90

00:04:42,788 --> 00:04:45,308

between, or has it always been like that.

91

00:04:45,798 --> 00:04:47,363

Lakshit: Yeah, it has

always been like that.

92

00:04:47,378 --> 00:04:50,423

I think that was the, I don't

know why this name was kept.

93

00:04:50,592 --> 00:04:54,152

But it, I felt it was right and

I thought to keep, it, yeah, it

94

00:04:54,152 --> 00:04:56,462

has been the same from the start.

95

00:04:57,692 --> 00:04:58,052

Dilip: Okay.

96

00:04:58,202 --> 00:05:02,582

So when you started off, did you think

that you're going to interview people from

97

00:05:02,582 --> 00:05:06,692

different walks of life or was the goal,

something different when you started off

98

00:05:06,692 --> 00:05:08,772

and then it changed over a period of time.

99

00:05:09,722 --> 00:05:09,912

Lakshit: Yeah.

100

00:05:09,912 --> 00:05:14,179

So my goal was, as I said, my goal

was to mainly have people who trying

101

00:05:14,179 --> 00:05:17,539

to do something in the society by

their own, even it's a small thing.

102

00:05:17,539 --> 00:05:17,819

It's okay.

103

00:05:17,819 --> 00:05:18,601

That was the thing.

104

00:05:18,991 --> 00:05:20,551

Of course, some, some things have changed.

105

00:05:20,551 --> 00:05:23,986

I didn't want to have different

people celebrities and all of that.

106

00:05:24,406 --> 00:05:27,424

But when we went into the lockdown,

I thought it's a, it's the right time

107

00:05:27,424 --> 00:05:30,818

that I approach them because maybe

people would be interested to know

108

00:05:30,818 --> 00:05:31,898

more about them and all of that.

109

00:05:32,258 --> 00:05:37,538

So I went into more creator space and

then also more of a celebrity things also.

110

00:05:38,548 --> 00:05:42,097

So of course that changed, but the,

the whole idea of trying to get the

111

00:05:42,097 --> 00:05:45,907

stories, which are unique and trying to

do, something for the society is always

112

00:05:45,907 --> 00:05:47,947

there and those stories still come.

113

00:05:48,097 --> 00:05:52,743

So yeah, the kind of a bit

changed, but still firmly there

114

00:05:52,743 --> 00:05:54,643

on the idea of doing something.

115

00:05:56,228 --> 00:06:00,008

Dilip: I think that name that you chose

multi-purpose with Lakshit, it helped.

116

00:06:00,308 --> 00:06:04,450

And in spite of the fact that you kind

of diversified into the kind of guests

117

00:06:04,450 --> 00:06:08,230

that were coming into your show, that

title still holds good because of the

118

00:06:08,290 --> 00:06:09,740

kind of title that you chose for the show.

119

00:06:09,740 --> 00:06:10,230

Isn't it?

120

00:06:10,630 --> 00:06:14,930

Lakshit: Yes, totally because multipurpose

it's like a lot of, a lot of purposes.

121

00:06:15,300 --> 00:06:18,478

It's also, if you're looking for a

profession, if you're looking for becoming

122

00:06:18,478 --> 00:06:22,438

an activist or trying to solve a problem

by doing something at your own house,

123

00:06:22,828 --> 00:06:27,248

or if you're looking to get into some

other space working space, if you wish

124

00:06:27,248 --> 00:06:28,788

to start a startup or something as such.

125

00:06:29,138 --> 00:06:31,948

So it's like multipurpose, it

serves a lot of purposes to a lot of

126

00:06:31,948 --> 00:06:35,338

different kinds of audiences, which

helps to find them and give them

127

00:06:35,338 --> 00:06:37,528

solutions which they are looking for.

128

00:06:38,988 --> 00:06:39,258

Dilip: Right.

129

00:06:39,283 --> 00:06:44,393

So, it's a tremendous achievement

and a completely different thought

130

00:06:44,393 --> 00:06:47,573

process for a 17 year old, which means

if you started it two years back, you

131

00:06:47,573 --> 00:06:49,343

started it when you were 15, is it?

132

00:06:49,393 --> 00:06:49,693

Lakshit: Yes.

133

00:06:50,533 --> 00:06:50,803

Dilip: Okay.

134

00:06:50,803 --> 00:06:54,312

So to think about something like this,

when you were 15 Lakshit, I should

135

00:06:54,702 --> 00:06:58,712

say, it's a commendable job and I

think it needs a lot of appreciation.

136

00:06:58,712 --> 00:07:00,093

So excellent work.

137

00:07:00,182 --> 00:07:07,298

Thinking about, giving it back to the

society or thinking about refining the

138

00:07:07,298 --> 00:07:12,241

society addressing problems that are

that you see around you using a podcast.

139

00:07:12,241 --> 00:07:13,651

So that's an amazing achievement.

140

00:07:13,891 --> 00:07:16,411

So Lakshit, something that I would

like to know as you spoke about a

141

00:07:16,411 --> 00:07:19,661

cultural exchange, can you tell me more

about what the cultural exchange was.

142

00:07:20,311 --> 00:07:20,601

Lakshit: Sure.

143

00:07:20,814 --> 00:07:21,714

There was a organization.

144

00:07:22,044 --> 00:07:24,264

AFS which is American field service India.

145

00:07:24,534 --> 00:07:26,954

It's a, organization all over

the world with a lot of branches.

146

00:07:26,954 --> 00:07:31,065

It was started in the second world

war when two wonderful humans from, I

147

00:07:31,065 --> 00:07:35,299

think American Canada came together and

started an organization of ambulances

148

00:07:35,409 --> 00:07:40,142

where they help people in need in World

War when bombs were blasted on various

149

00:07:40,142 --> 00:07:41,267

different cities all around the world.

150

00:07:41,717 --> 00:07:43,877

So they started first with

an ambulance services.

151

00:07:43,877 --> 00:07:46,737

Then they understood that the whole

reason world war, was happening

152

00:07:46,787 --> 00:07:50,306

is because countries are fighting

and to end this fight will have

153

00:07:50,306 --> 00:07:51,889

to meet the general public.

154

00:07:52,419 --> 00:07:56,111

Meet and know each other, like a Indian

meeting, French people and their culture.

155

00:07:56,891 --> 00:07:59,491

French knowing an Indian culture

through me and through my

156

00:07:59,521 --> 00:08:01,081

living style and all of that.

157

00:08:01,231 --> 00:08:02,191

Lifestyle, and all of that.

158

00:08:02,521 --> 00:08:04,321

So that was the whole idea

which they started with.

159

00:08:04,346 --> 00:08:07,517

And and then our school were partner

members with the organization.

160

00:08:07,750 --> 00:08:11,534

So I had a chance to go to France for

one year in the year of 2018 and 19.

161

00:08:11,564 --> 00:08:14,807

And I was in a city called

Orleans which is a one hour,

162

00:08:15,197 --> 00:08:17,299

one hour 54 minutes from Paris.

163

00:08:17,394 --> 00:08:18,384

And yeah, I lived there.

164

00:08:18,384 --> 00:08:19,374

I explored the city.

165

00:08:19,494 --> 00:08:26,344

I had a chance to be, I think, in

say around 13 providence they have,

166

00:08:26,364 --> 00:08:30,744

I had already had chance of visiting

half of them say 7 or 8 of them.

167

00:08:30,744 --> 00:08:31,755

I had the chance to visit.

168

00:08:31,806 --> 00:08:35,796

And I have been to various countries

nearby and explored and have a lot

169

00:08:35,796 --> 00:08:37,566

of friends from various countries.

170

00:08:38,046 --> 00:08:42,246

And also that, that gave me an

idea of things happening that give

171

00:08:42,246 --> 00:08:44,904

me a chance of understanding how

people think around the world.

172

00:08:45,174 --> 00:08:47,924

And it just, says one thing

that humans are same everywhere.

173

00:08:48,394 --> 00:08:50,024

It's nothing different.

174

00:08:50,594 --> 00:08:56,089

Its just a bit of a different lifestyles

you live, otherwise I think no American or

175

00:08:56,089 --> 00:08:57,889

Italian or a French person is different.

176

00:08:57,889 --> 00:09:00,529

They're just similar as

they live the life we live.

177

00:09:00,559 --> 00:09:03,489

It's just, their eating styles are

different their living style are different

178

00:09:03,489 --> 00:09:05,209

and their thinking styles are different.

179

00:09:05,479 --> 00:09:09,882

Otherwise there are no big differences in,

in the lifestyle we live or the way they

180

00:09:10,022 --> 00:09:12,302

think, humans are the same everywhere.

181

00:09:12,937 --> 00:09:17,427

And that gave me a chance to understand

that we are just trying to over-rate

182

00:09:17,527 --> 00:09:21,270

things in just, think that foreigners

or people out of India live a wonderful

183

00:09:21,270 --> 00:09:22,830

life, but no it's a similar thing.

184

00:09:23,160 --> 00:09:26,641

It's just, their life is a bit different

and they have less humans around them.

185

00:09:26,701 --> 00:09:27,601

So that's the only thing.

186

00:09:27,601 --> 00:09:29,226

Otherwise things are pretty

much the same, right.

187

00:09:30,956 --> 00:09:31,256

Dilip: Okay.

188

00:09:31,466 --> 00:09:32,006

Interesting.

189

00:09:32,846 --> 00:09:33,176

Okay.

190

00:09:33,176 --> 00:09:37,381

So now onto your podcast journey, so

before I understand how you start your

191

00:09:37,381 --> 00:09:41,121

podcast, I just want her to know where

exactly is it that you host your podcast.

192

00:09:41,143 --> 00:09:43,015

Lakshit: So you mean the

you mean the website?

193

00:09:43,255 --> 00:09:44,755

Like the, which app or website?

194

00:09:45,365 --> 00:09:45,635

Dilip: Right.

195

00:09:45,635 --> 00:09:48,395

So what is the hosting provider,

are you hosting it on your own or

196

00:09:48,765 --> 00:09:49,815

are you hosting it with somebody?

197

00:09:49,815 --> 00:09:55,382

Lakshit: So I hosted on my own and the

website, the website, the app, I use

198

00:09:55,382 --> 00:09:59,542

it called anchor, which distributes

it to all around the platforms.

199

00:10:00,042 --> 00:10:00,392

Dilip: Okay.

200

00:10:00,542 --> 00:10:02,692

So you're using anchor

to host your site, okay.

201

00:10:02,692 --> 00:10:05,145

So and I also saw that you are on YouTube.

202

00:10:05,895 --> 00:10:10,965

I saw most of the episodes that you've

released are available in YouTube as well.

203

00:10:10,965 --> 00:10:13,845

So I'm assuming, you usually

do a video interview.

204

00:10:14,475 --> 00:10:18,994

So do you do the video interview

and then extract the audio to

205

00:10:19,057 --> 00:10:20,857

publish it as a, as a podcast or..

206

00:10:20,907 --> 00:10:21,417

How does it work.

207

00:10:22,197 --> 00:10:22,367

Lakshit: Yeah.

208

00:10:22,367 --> 00:10:25,267

So what we do is I get the

guest and we do it on zoom.

209

00:10:25,267 --> 00:10:29,649

The video recorded is used and the audio

is, also posted on the audio platforms.

210

00:10:29,679 --> 00:10:32,499

So yeah, it's the way you

said, the audio is extracted.

211

00:10:33,469 --> 00:10:36,839

Dilip: So any specific reason why

you chose YouTube as well to host.

212

00:10:36,919 --> 00:10:39,009

Lakshit: I also think of growing there.

213

00:10:39,116 --> 00:10:40,832

Cause I just want to be able to.

214

00:10:40,877 --> 00:10:43,227

People could hear or see and understand.

215

00:10:43,227 --> 00:10:45,597

I think podcasting as

a medium is wonderful.

216

00:10:45,597 --> 00:10:46,306

It's beautiful.

217

00:10:46,355 --> 00:10:49,895

But then sometimes for me, I think

seeing if you, if you're not able

218

00:10:49,895 --> 00:10:54,755

to see the person's expression while

he she or, they are speaking, it

219

00:10:54,755 --> 00:10:56,445

just becomes a kind of, weird to me.

220

00:10:56,745 --> 00:10:59,495

I thought of doing it in video

too and also thought of growing on

221

00:10:59,495 --> 00:11:03,335

YouTube, which could ultimately help

me in various other things for which

222

00:11:03,335 --> 00:11:05,225

I am aiming in the coming years.

223

00:11:06,875 --> 00:11:07,235

Dilip: Okay.

224

00:11:07,835 --> 00:11:08,105

Nice.

225

00:11:08,105 --> 00:11:08,525

Interesting.

226

00:11:08,525 --> 00:11:10,234

So going back to the first question.

227

00:11:10,234 --> 00:11:13,230

So other than podcasting

what is it that you do.

228

00:11:13,276 --> 00:11:16,861

Lakshit: Uh, So other than podcasting I

am, a student who is doing my 12th, and I

229

00:11:16,931 --> 00:11:19,011

run a small company plant based company.

230

00:11:19,011 --> 00:11:21,841

Where, we manufacture

vegan, what do you say?

231

00:11:21,931 --> 00:11:25,311

Vegan yogurt and curds vegan

milk and a lot of vegan desserts.

232

00:11:25,401 --> 00:11:26,451

So, this is what we do.

233

00:11:27,021 --> 00:11:31,290

And it's just, just helping people out to

change, change their lifestyle and diets

234

00:11:31,350 --> 00:11:36,982

and the way they eat, and, maybe making

them more affordable so everybody can buy

235

00:11:36,982 --> 00:11:38,782

them and use them in their regular life.

236

00:11:38,782 --> 00:11:42,445

So something can be done, maybe

we can bring change in the

237

00:11:42,445 --> 00:11:44,245

world by just changing the food.

238

00:11:44,306 --> 00:11:45,136

and the way we eat.

239

00:11:46,006 --> 00:11:46,426

So, yeah.

240

00:11:47,026 --> 00:11:48,016

Dilip: Nice, wonderful.

241

00:11:48,016 --> 00:11:52,456

So at 17, you are a podcaster,

you are an entrepreneur.

242

00:11:52,936 --> 00:11:56,461

You're thinking about the society

about refining things that you've

243

00:11:56,461 --> 00:11:59,161

seeing around doing so many things.

244

00:11:59,461 --> 00:12:02,731

In addition to continuing

with your studies, how do you

245

00:12:02,731 --> 00:12:03,991

manage time for all of these?

246

00:12:06,271 --> 00:12:06,481

Lakshit: Yeah.

247

00:12:06,481 --> 00:12:07,481

So, it's a bit hard.

248

00:12:07,541 --> 00:12:10,664

Like it just kind of takes a lot

of toll on the body sometimes.

249

00:12:10,664 --> 00:12:13,336

But I think it just now I'm used

to, because I've been doing it for

250

00:12:13,336 --> 00:12:15,911

a year and more, So it just happens.

251

00:12:15,911 --> 00:12:20,621

Of course, I'm half of the time tired

because I have a lot of things on

252

00:12:20,621 --> 00:12:23,771

the plate to do I have even have to

do that and do this and take care of

253

00:12:23,771 --> 00:12:25,811

that and talk to them and all of that.

254

00:12:26,081 --> 00:12:28,151

But I think it just has been a habit now.

255

00:12:28,151 --> 00:12:31,991

And in the beginning, it was very, very

hard to understand how things can be done.

256

00:12:32,501 --> 00:12:35,711

But now I think after a while, when you're

working continuosly and doing the work to

257

00:12:35,711 --> 00:12:41,921

understand that how things happened, So

it's kind of becoming easier day by day.

258

00:12:41,921 --> 00:12:42,601

Dilip: Okay, Good.

259

00:12:43,491 --> 00:12:43,861

Okay.

260

00:12:43,916 --> 00:12:44,454

Nice.

261

00:12:44,454 --> 00:12:49,115

So coming to the podcast, so when

you started off your podcast and

262

00:12:49,115 --> 00:12:51,485

you're saying you started the

podcast about two years back.

263

00:12:51,485 --> 00:12:55,655

So two years back, you know,

podcasting in India, wasn't that

264

00:12:55,773 --> 00:12:59,823

that well-known, the facilities that

were available weren't that much.

265

00:13:00,273 --> 00:13:06,245

So when you started off your podcast Was

it easy to just start off or you know, did

266

00:13:06,245 --> 00:13:08,855

you face some struggles, some problems?

267

00:13:09,215 --> 00:13:12,055

How was it, how was that journey

of starting off with your podcast?

268

00:13:12,725 --> 00:13:13,265

Lakshit: Yeah.

269

00:13:13,265 --> 00:13:14,555

So it was.

270

00:13:14,565 --> 00:13:18,665

I didn't had any research at that point

because I had no idea how things happen,

271

00:13:18,665 --> 00:13:20,111

that time because I was new to everything.

272

00:13:20,111 --> 00:13:21,551

I was exploring, I was back to India.

273

00:13:21,971 --> 00:13:25,579

I was coming back to my city where I was

gone, after say four, five years before

274

00:13:25,579 --> 00:13:28,643

that I was in hostel and then I went

to France and then I came back and then

275

00:13:28,653 --> 00:13:35,109

5, 6 months it took for me to get back

to the, the life and things to work.

276

00:13:35,529 --> 00:13:36,129

And all of that.

277

00:13:36,309 --> 00:13:37,568

So it was kind of hard.

278

00:13:37,568 --> 00:13:39,458

It was kind of weird

for four, five months.

279

00:13:39,458 --> 00:13:42,458

I was thinking, how can I start,

how can I approach people?

280

00:13:42,458 --> 00:13:43,148

What can I do?

281

00:13:43,171 --> 00:13:47,681

And I was firm on the idea of, doing

a video podcast and then I'll extract

282

00:13:47,681 --> 00:13:50,531

the audio in a different way, but

I'll be doing video first for whatever

283

00:13:50,531 --> 00:13:51,731

things happen, how things happen.

284

00:13:52,061 --> 00:13:53,621

Video is my first priority.

285

00:13:54,491 --> 00:13:54,791

Hmm.

286

00:13:54,821 --> 00:13:58,121

So for that reason, it

took me a lot of time.

287

00:13:58,121 --> 00:14:01,338

And a lot of Figuring out, how will

I manage my funds and that time I

288

00:14:01,338 --> 00:14:02,628

didn't even have that much money.

289

00:14:02,628 --> 00:14:06,128

And, I was unsure that will I be

able to make my parents understand

290

00:14:06,128 --> 00:14:07,098

that what I'm trying to do.

291

00:14:07,478 --> 00:14:14,798

So luckily one of my sister was doing

her studies in mass media and has had a

292

00:14:14,798 --> 00:14:19,388

lot of friends who had knowledge of using

cameras and things happen and all of that.

293

00:14:20,778 --> 00:14:24,018

One of her junior was very, very

helpful and she was Namrata.

294

00:14:24,438 --> 00:14:26,448

So she came up and she was

like, okay, I'll help you out.

295

00:14:26,448 --> 00:14:27,138

I'll shoot the video.

296

00:14:27,228 --> 00:14:27,808

I have a camera.

297

00:14:27,825 --> 00:14:31,345

And she did it like voluntarily,

doing something I'm happy to help you.

298

00:14:31,395 --> 00:14:31,905

She helped me.

299

00:14:32,385 --> 00:14:33,460

And then we did it.

300

00:14:33,700 --> 00:14:34,180

So, yeah.

301

00:14:34,450 --> 00:14:35,362

And it was hard.

302

00:14:35,392 --> 00:14:41,202

It took me, like, I shot it in November,

so it took me three months to post it.

303

00:14:41,212 --> 00:14:45,172

I was just thinking and thinking

will that people will like

304

00:14:45,172 --> 00:14:46,552

it, will I be able to do it?

305

00:14:46,710 --> 00:14:50,709

Will I be able to continually post

episodes because if I'm not then how

306

00:14:50,709 --> 00:14:53,519

will I, you know, do it, and now all

of that and how will I like, create

307

00:14:53,539 --> 00:14:56,404

an audience for myself, And also if

there was some problems with editing

308

00:14:56,404 --> 00:14:57,754

and I was not able to edit it properly.

309

00:14:58,144 --> 00:15:02,846

So after three months of making myself

getting that energy putting things

310

00:15:02,846 --> 00:15:04,956

up, I posted the video in February.

311

00:15:05,024 --> 00:15:06,234

It, worked well.

312

00:15:06,254 --> 00:15:10,554

The first videos of course go well all

the time, people loved it and, shared it.

313

00:15:10,574 --> 00:15:11,084

And all of that.

314

00:15:11,504 --> 00:15:12,534

Things worked wonderfully.

315

00:15:12,534 --> 00:15:14,949

I think three episodes happened on camera.

316

00:15:15,239 --> 00:15:16,599

And then we had the lock down.

317

00:15:16,599 --> 00:15:21,992

So we moved to the I knew I can use

zoom since the beginning, but I didn't

318

00:15:21,992 --> 00:15:26,063

want to use media from zoom then the

physical meetings were not possible.

319

00:15:26,069 --> 00:15:28,249

Then we had to move on zoom for the thing.

320

00:15:28,399 --> 00:15:28,969

So, yeah.

321

00:15:29,479 --> 00:15:32,149

But otherwise I still hope

that we get back on camera.

322

00:15:32,199 --> 00:15:33,532

But yeah, things have changed now.

323

00:15:33,532 --> 00:15:35,240

So we have your thinking

how things can happen.

324

00:15:35,560 --> 00:15:35,770

Yeah.

325

00:15:36,910 --> 00:15:37,260

Dilip: Okay.

326

00:15:37,470 --> 00:15:40,710

So you do the editing and the post

processing everything on your own.

327

00:15:41,370 --> 00:15:41,650

Lakshit: Yes.

328

00:15:41,910 --> 00:15:45,310

Yeah, I do it, but it's not that,

I don't spend a lot of time on

329

00:15:45,310 --> 00:15:46,610

doing editing and all of that.

330

00:15:46,610 --> 00:15:49,301

I just keep it raw if there are

some parts which the guest is not

331

00:15:49,301 --> 00:15:54,418

comfortable posting and just cut the

part which they say to, otherwise I

332

00:15:54,418 --> 00:15:55,648

think there's not much editing done.

333

00:15:55,858 --> 00:15:58,468

Oh, of course there is some kind

of editing, cutting, and some

334

00:15:58,468 --> 00:15:59,908

things added up in the beginning.

335

00:16:00,148 --> 00:16:01,478

So yeah, that's it.

336

00:16:02,338 --> 00:16:03,098

Dilip: Okay, fine.

337

00:16:03,373 --> 00:16:06,973

And from the beginning itself, you

have hosted it on anchor or you

338

00:16:06,973 --> 00:16:09,493

were hosting it with somebody else

and then you moved over to Anchor.

339

00:16:09,863 --> 00:16:11,563

Lakshit: No, it was always anchor.

340

00:16:11,667 --> 00:16:15,123

And yeah, I then just started to share

on various different websites but

341

00:16:15,123 --> 00:16:17,993

otherwise it has always been Anchor.

342

00:16:17,993 --> 00:16:18,083

Dilip: Okay.

343

00:16:18,413 --> 00:16:20,218

So just to understand Lakshit.

344

00:16:20,218 --> 00:16:24,902

So which means that you had a purpose,

you knew what your goal was and you had

345

00:16:24,902 --> 00:16:26,942

an understanding of how podcasting works.

346

00:16:26,942 --> 00:16:29,534

So you went about just recording

the video, extracting the

347

00:16:29,534 --> 00:16:30,754

audio and posting it out there.

348

00:16:30,874 --> 00:16:36,538

But for all of this to happen, did you

first check if you would get an audience

349

00:16:36,538 --> 00:16:40,048

who will be interested in listening

to this kind of a conversation or you

350

00:16:40,048 --> 00:16:43,078

just thought, okay, let me put it out

there and then I'll see how it goes.

351

00:16:43,078 --> 00:16:43,918

How did it work.

352

00:16:44,233 --> 00:16:44,473

Lakshit: Yeah.

353

00:16:44,503 --> 00:16:48,537

So I had no idea about how

I had even thought about the

354

00:16:48,537 --> 00:16:50,207

audience and all of that.

355

00:16:50,207 --> 00:16:55,597

I just thought that I see a problem I just

want to speak about and I'll record it.

356

00:16:55,597 --> 00:16:57,617

So that was the whole idea.

357

00:16:57,617 --> 00:17:00,060

Yeah, I didn't think about the

audience or how much views I would

358

00:17:00,190 --> 00:17:01,630

get or, how much listens would I get?

359

00:17:01,990 --> 00:17:06,195

I didn't know any podcaster at that point

I knew no one I just knew one person.

360

00:17:07,290 --> 00:17:11,030

If you have heard about him,

I knew just Salman that time.

361

00:17:11,310 --> 00:17:13,757

Otherwise I knew no podcasters,

who could help me out.

362

00:17:13,767 --> 00:17:17,200

So that was the thing otherwise, I think,

I had idea that I wish to speak about the

363

00:17:17,200 --> 00:17:21,443

problem and we'll see how things work, but

we are going to do, I'm going to do this.

364

00:17:21,510 --> 00:17:24,729

And this will happen for whatever reasons

however it will happen I don't know,

365

00:17:25,269 --> 00:17:29,148

but it will happen and, I'll be doing it

even if I don't get views or, anything.

366

00:17:29,398 --> 00:17:30,638

So that was the whole idea.

367

00:17:30,638 --> 00:17:30,818

Yeah.

368

00:17:32,378 --> 00:17:32,738

Dilip: Okay.

369

00:17:33,818 --> 00:17:38,759

So Coming back to your form

of the podcasting style.

370

00:17:38,769 --> 00:17:42,924

So now you have guests from a

variety of fields, guests from

371

00:17:42,924 --> 00:17:45,744

different niches, different levels.

372

00:17:45,804 --> 00:17:49,384

There are some people who are

extremely well-known like celebrities.

373

00:17:49,384 --> 00:17:52,804

There are people who aren't that

well-known, you have teachers, you

374

00:17:52,804 --> 00:17:54,712

have singers, you have authors.

375

00:17:55,432 --> 00:17:59,595

So, what is the process of picking guests.

376

00:17:59,595 --> 00:18:04,405

How do you decide on who is it that

I'm going to interview on the show?

377

00:18:04,437 --> 00:18:05,817

How do you screen them?

378

00:18:05,817 --> 00:18:08,427

Where do you get the leads

to these people from?

379

00:18:08,697 --> 00:18:10,287

So what is that process like?

380

00:18:10,807 --> 00:18:11,217

Lakshit: Sure.

381

00:18:11,427 --> 00:18:14,323

So for the beginning, when I

started doing it, I got to know

382

00:18:14,453 --> 00:18:15,913

it through the better india.com.

383

00:18:16,393 --> 00:18:19,553

So these were the guests from

first, some episodes I got.

384

00:18:20,123 --> 00:18:24,805

Uh, And after a while, when, again,

when lock down and came to place more

385

00:18:24,805 --> 00:18:27,953

and more, or usage of Instagram helped

me to find more and more people.

386

00:18:27,961 --> 00:18:30,874

And the people I knew, I thought

would never respond to me who are like

387

00:18:30,874 --> 00:18:34,465

very, very well known and like a very,

very huge audience at that point.

388

00:18:34,485 --> 00:18:39,405

They responded and I got that feeling

and I got that thing that I can invite

389

00:18:39,405 --> 00:18:43,305

them and they would be happy to join

me in for the, for an episode or two.

390

00:18:43,378 --> 00:18:47,788

So yeah, it was, it was through Instagram

and all, some also came through just

391

00:18:47,788 --> 00:18:52,055

watching videos on YouTube exploring,

YouTube videos and other podcasters also.

392

00:18:52,087 --> 00:18:53,465

And otherwise I think.

393

00:18:53,542 --> 00:18:58,158

Yeah, the screening part of it

is I just see the person's voice.

394

00:18:58,237 --> 00:19:02,557

Is the person able to put his

point firmly and properly.

1

00:00:00,049 --> 00:00:03,754

Lakshit: And is he, she, or they are able

to clearly put up with the point out.

2

00:00:04,144 --> 00:00:06,444

If yes, then I, let me have them.

3

00:00:06,504 --> 00:00:10,026

And of course almost all people

I had have done some of the other

4

00:00:10,056 --> 00:00:13,691

thing or they have their own

audiences and, their own audiences

5

00:00:13,691 --> 00:00:15,640

so, so I think, yeah.

6

00:00:15,783 --> 00:00:18,086

And then I they have built a

small community for themselves.

7

00:00:18,506 --> 00:00:20,366

So that, that also made things easier.

8

00:00:20,366 --> 00:00:23,523

And I was able to more and more

what'd you say have them on the

9

00:00:23,523 --> 00:00:27,543

podcast and speak to them about

their work and know their stories.

10

00:00:27,753 --> 00:00:28,073

Dilip: Okay.

11

00:00:28,543 --> 00:00:32,959

So which means that the two

methods of finding guests one

12

00:00:32,959 --> 00:00:34,279

is, you said Instagram second.

13

00:00:34,999 --> 00:00:38,637

That people that, you know, you

would just reach out to them and tell

14

00:00:38,637 --> 00:00:41,547

them that this is what it is and if

they're okay, you will invite them

15

00:00:41,547 --> 00:00:42,687

to the show and record them, right?

16

00:00:42,957 --> 00:00:43,347

Lakshit: Yes.

17

00:00:43,407 --> 00:00:43,707

Yes.

18

00:00:45,327 --> 00:00:45,687

Dilip: Okay.

19

00:00:46,747 --> 00:00:47,137

Fine.

20

00:00:47,137 --> 00:00:51,415

So when you interview your guests

and considering that your guests

21

00:00:51,415 --> 00:00:57,635

are from different backgrounds,

Is there some kind of pre research

22

00:00:57,665 --> 00:01:00,695

that you do on what their works are,

23

00:01:01,115 --> 00:01:02,345

what have they been doing?

24

00:01:02,345 --> 00:01:06,238

How have they been contributing to

the society and understanding them

25

00:01:06,238 --> 00:01:09,958

a little more in depth before you

actually get onto the interview?

26

00:01:10,348 --> 00:01:14,266

Or is it all during that

conversation that you have with

27

00:01:14,616 --> 00:01:15,936

your guests on your podcast.

28

00:01:16,007 --> 00:01:19,997

Lakshit: So always having a podcast,

inviting a person almost all the time.

29

00:01:19,997 --> 00:01:24,677

Dilip: It's just a blank sheet in

my mind when I have no opinions and

30

00:01:24,677 --> 00:01:27,617

all, I have no idea about them but

of course I know what they have done.

31

00:01:27,617 --> 00:01:31,487

Like if they're an actor, which serials

or, which movies have they worked in.

32

00:01:31,487 --> 00:01:35,169

Maybe I would just check how the news

tells about them and all of that.

33

00:01:35,704 --> 00:01:36,524

That's the only thing.

34

00:01:36,524 --> 00:01:38,401

Otherwise I think there

is no much research done.

35

00:01:38,401 --> 00:01:42,677

I understand, of course I get them on

the podcast by seeing their work and

36

00:01:42,737 --> 00:01:45,467

otherwise yeah, there was, there is no

research which has done because I just

37

00:01:45,467 --> 00:01:50,687

want to, if I already know things, then

I might think, I feel, I won't be able

38

00:01:50,687 --> 00:01:52,787

to bring other things out, from there.

39

00:01:52,863 --> 00:01:57,313

And know more about them by themselves,

because if I need something or say

40

00:01:57,363 --> 00:02:03,543

Wikipedia or, a news, it will be written

by a person who maybe would not know

41

00:02:03,543 --> 00:02:08,193

the person personally, or would know

him or her or them and their work.

42

00:02:08,253 --> 00:02:12,396

So what I do is I, just read a bit

about their work and what they're doing.

43

00:02:12,396 --> 00:02:16,741

Otherwise it's just a blank paper when I

talk to them in the conversation, I try to

44

00:02:17,101 --> 00:02:21,526

understand about them more and more and I

understand what they're trying to do and

45

00:02:21,996 --> 00:02:23,226

how they're trying to create an impact.

46

00:02:24,626 --> 00:02:25,046

Okay.

47

00:02:25,766 --> 00:02:26,006

Okay.

48

00:02:26,006 --> 00:02:29,587

And what about the questions as

in do you pre-frame it, or those

49

00:02:29,587 --> 00:02:32,357

are spontaneous questions that

you just ask during the interview.

50

00:02:32,364 --> 00:02:33,324

Lakshit: So these are spontaneous.

51

00:02:33,354 --> 00:02:36,779

They just come out while

we are in the conversation.

52

00:02:36,839 --> 00:02:38,929

There are some questions which I

always ask like did this start?

53

00:02:38,959 --> 00:02:40,049

How did it begin?

54

00:02:40,083 --> 00:02:44,723

How are things going now and that when

they're trying to tell their work and I

55

00:02:44,723 --> 00:02:48,383

just get into and find a question that

they answered and put the question next.

56

00:02:48,973 --> 00:02:51,343

And the question which I framed,

they will just tell something more.

57

00:02:51,553 --> 00:02:53,113

And that will be the question next.

58

00:02:53,203 --> 00:02:55,893

So that is how it happens

59

00:02:56,503 --> 00:02:59,383

Dilip: okay, so you keep building on the

conversation that is happening, right.

60

00:02:59,455 --> 00:03:00,295

Lakshit: Yes, Yes.

61

00:03:01,375 --> 00:03:01,775

Dilip: Okay.

62

00:03:02,703 --> 00:03:06,541

Coming back to the show when

you started off and even now how

63

00:03:06,541 --> 00:03:08,131

did you reach out to people?

64

00:03:08,131 --> 00:03:13,351

What was your method of promoting

your show and ensuring that it

65

00:03:13,351 --> 00:03:17,761

reaches an audience who are looking

for that kind of information?

66

00:03:18,131 --> 00:03:18,831

What methods did you follow?.

67

00:03:20,211 --> 00:03:20,301

Uh

68

00:03:20,301 --> 00:03:23,037

Lakshit: So I think for,

someone like me, I knew nothing.

69

00:03:23,087 --> 00:03:25,617

I was very like naive that I was just 15.

70

00:03:25,947 --> 00:03:30,487

I had come from a huge huge cultural

shock and I was trying to fit in, in

71

00:03:30,487 --> 00:03:32,137

the society and the people around me.

72

00:03:32,527 --> 00:03:35,737

And I had no big friends in

Bangalore because I had left the

73

00:03:35,737 --> 00:03:37,772

city when I was say 12 or 13.

74

00:03:38,792 --> 00:03:41,192

So I didn't know a lot

of people here either.

75

00:03:41,732 --> 00:03:43,622

So I was pretty much all the time alone.

76

00:03:43,652 --> 00:03:47,495

My sisters were one, one was

in college and one was working.

77

00:03:47,515 --> 00:03:51,790

And yeah, so I was pretty much by myself

alone trying to figure out things, being

78

00:03:51,790 --> 00:03:52,840

here and there, going here and there..

79

00:03:53,140 --> 00:03:55,240

So I knew nothing about how things work.

80

00:03:55,274 --> 00:03:59,394

I had no friends who could

help me understand things or

81

00:04:00,144 --> 00:04:01,734

none in the podcasting either.

82

00:04:03,024 --> 00:04:09,117

But after a while after, when I started,

I started sharing it with my friends

83

00:04:09,117 --> 00:04:11,877

or people, I knew I shared with them.

84

00:04:11,877 --> 00:04:16,841

I shared it in my family groups and friend

groups of the school in all of that.

85

00:04:17,171 --> 00:04:19,751

I shared them on my Instagram on Facebook.

86

00:04:20,446 --> 00:04:25,559

And I shared it on my father's I use

my father's groups and shared the video

87

00:04:25,559 --> 00:04:30,350

there and after that we started building

the small community day after day..

88

00:04:30,900 --> 00:04:33,500

And when I started helping people

who people knew, which were

89

00:04:33,500 --> 00:04:37,280

kind of popular and they were

well-known to the communities

90

00:04:37,580 --> 00:04:38,975

all around and different things.

91

00:04:39,006 --> 00:04:40,706

The community started building by itself.

92

00:04:40,856 --> 00:04:45,266

People came and started subscribing, and

writing how they feel, how it's going on.

93

00:04:45,536 --> 00:04:49,820

And also when you, when you have a person

who is very, very well known or very has

94

00:04:49,820 --> 00:04:55,390

a huge audience, you don't even require

to share the video or, do anything..

95

00:04:55,390 --> 00:04:57,410

Just your views will come on.

96

00:04:57,450 --> 00:05:01,240

The listens will come by themselves

because people will know the

97

00:05:01,240 --> 00:05:03,380

person and they'll know the name

and they'll just click on it.

98

00:05:03,380 --> 00:05:05,360

Listen it or, to see it.

99

00:05:05,425 --> 00:05:08,535

So then you won't have to work or on

much of marketing or sharing that..

100

00:05:08,905 --> 00:05:13,917

So for example, my, my seventh episode

with Markian he also has a channel called

101

00:05:13,917 --> 00:05:18,573

smile squad where they try to explore

a lot of cultures and make funny skits.

102

00:05:19,263 --> 00:05:20,458

and all of that.

103

00:05:20,758 --> 00:05:24,720

So he, he joined me on the, on the

episode when I was, when I was doing my

104

00:05:24,720 --> 00:05:26,580

seventh and it was like very, very small.

105

00:05:26,580 --> 00:05:27,930

I had none of people.

106

00:05:28,590 --> 00:05:32,570

And when, I got him, when I

shared his video in the various

107

00:05:32,570 --> 00:05:37,070

cultural groups, which I knew,

or the exchange friends we had.

108

00:05:37,460 --> 00:05:40,100

So these, these things were

very, you know, it was like

109

00:05:40,130 --> 00:05:41,330

we were able to relate to it.

110

00:05:41,870 --> 00:05:44,660

And when I shared with them, they

watched the video because they knew the

111

00:05:44,660 --> 00:05:49,390

person and his content.So that's the

way things build And then the video now

112

00:05:49,440 --> 00:05:51,450

his videos are on the top of my channel.

113

00:05:52,770 --> 00:05:54,532

because , I didn't even

require to share it.

114

00:05:54,532 --> 00:05:58,437

I just had put his name properly

add all the tags, in the

115

00:05:58,467 --> 00:05:59,547

description and all of that.

116

00:05:59,967 --> 00:06:02,597

So the views on the

videos all came by itself.

117

00:06:02,597 --> 00:06:07,277

I had not to do much work and after

that episode, after a while, more

118

00:06:07,277 --> 00:06:10,907

and more peoples started coming

in and I started covering topics.

119

00:06:10,974 --> 00:06:14,441

And I think then, then afterwards

after the seventh episode, which I

120

00:06:14,441 --> 00:06:18,311

did with him, there was no look back

because then I was kind of getting

121

00:06:18,701 --> 00:06:21,731

a, kind of started building audience

instead of getting messages from

122

00:06:21,731 --> 00:06:22,871

people about what I'm trying to do.

123

00:06:23,381 --> 00:06:26,774

And then I think after some, some

while I had actors started coming

124

00:06:26,774 --> 00:06:32,234

into, so then after a while, they

started building audiences, building

125

00:06:32,414 --> 00:06:33,524

communities and all of that.

126

00:06:33,974 --> 00:06:37,184

And things, things have now

been wonderfully happening.

127

00:06:37,215 --> 00:06:41,235

Things have changed now also because

as lockdowns are back, I'm not able

128

00:06:41,235 --> 00:06:44,685

to, the multipurpose with Lakshit

is always constantly coming up.

129

00:06:44,955 --> 00:06:48,945

But the other podcast which I do with

entrepreneurs and professionals, just

130

00:06:48,945 --> 00:06:53,415

kind of going a bit slow because people

are getting back to their work now as

131

00:06:53,415 --> 00:06:55,805

the, the fear of COVID is no more there.

132

00:06:55,805 --> 00:06:59,105

So people are getting back to work and

enjoy their life and go on vacations.

133

00:06:59,585 --> 00:07:04,295

So people are finding very less time

for episodes in podcast these days.

134

00:07:04,625 --> 00:07:07,120

So things have become a bit

hard but otherwise, yeah, just

135

00:07:07,120 --> 00:07:09,394

trying to figure out what can be

done in how things can be done.

136

00:07:09,458 --> 00:07:10,808

Yeah, so that's, that's it.

137

00:07:11,558 --> 00:07:13,218

Dilip: So what were

the other two podcasts?

138

00:07:13,238 --> 00:07:16,996

Lakshit: So now there are, there are

two podcasts, which I started after a

139

00:07:17,026 --> 00:07:19,096

multipurpose, like kind of got a hit.

140

00:07:19,576 --> 00:07:21,316

So one is the entrepreneur

show with Lakshit.

141

00:07:21,918 --> 00:07:25,036

Where I have entrepreneurs

from various various fields.

142

00:07:25,426 --> 00:07:28,613

And then the other one is called

mindcology which is mental health

143

00:07:28,613 --> 00:07:34,111

professionals where I speak with

them on various mental health issues.

144

00:07:34,531 --> 00:07:38,080

And as, as you already know all

over the world, it's a stigma

145

00:07:38,080 --> 00:07:39,040

for mental health and that.

146

00:07:39,520 --> 00:07:43,340

So what I try to do is take a

very, very basic topic, which

147

00:07:43,370 --> 00:07:44,810

could, the people would require.

148

00:07:45,230 --> 00:07:49,852

And we, we try to find a solution

which we could do by ourselves because

149

00:07:49,872 --> 00:07:52,603

not everybody's comfortable like,

you know, all over the world, nobody

150

00:07:52,603 --> 00:07:55,603

is like comfortable and the like I'm

having anxiety or my own depression.

151

00:07:55,603 --> 00:07:57,643

Let's go to see one.

152

00:07:57,833 --> 00:08:00,413

So that's the reason, we

tried to find solutions.

153

00:08:00,477 --> 00:08:03,527

I asked questions about the, about

the topic and understand what it is,

154

00:08:03,827 --> 00:08:06,797

what are the symptoms and what are

the things and how we can deal with

155

00:08:06,797 --> 00:08:08,887

it, how, how we can help our friends.

156

00:08:09,527 --> 00:08:13,957

And yes, these are the

three podcasts I run.

157

00:08:13,957 --> 00:08:14,017

Dilip: Hmm.

158

00:08:14,017 --> 00:08:19,360

So, and, you know, I'm seriously amazed

with your energy and with the effort

159

00:08:19,360 --> 00:08:23,564

that you've put in because managing three

podcasts along with everything that you're

160

00:08:23,564 --> 00:08:29,444

doing, I am sure it is not easy and you're

still squeezing out time to consistently

161

00:08:29,474 --> 00:08:34,654

keep producing episodes, especially

for a multipurpose with Lakshit.

162

00:08:35,294 --> 00:08:37,004

So, you know, it's an amazing job.

163

00:08:37,004 --> 00:08:41,955

So how do you manage to ensure that

there is an episode that is coming out?

164

00:08:41,955 --> 00:08:43,245

Do you record it in batch?

165

00:08:43,315 --> 00:08:44,485

How does that happen?

166

00:08:44,531 --> 00:08:48,498

Lakshit: So for two months the Friday

episodes have been constant and

167

00:08:48,508 --> 00:08:53,028

entrepreneurs podcast has also been

constant, but the mindcology has not

168

00:08:53,028 --> 00:08:55,788

been constant because psycologists

are going back to work and they

169

00:08:55,788 --> 00:08:56,828

are not finding much time for it..

170

00:08:57,348 --> 00:09:01,186

So of course, before that, I used to

so if I, if I want to post videos for

171

00:09:01,186 --> 00:09:05,136

October by September, I'm done with all

the episodes have to come in October.

172

00:09:05,706 --> 00:09:10,111

And for November, all the episodes are

shot in October, so it's, it's done, done,

173

00:09:10,621 --> 00:09:14,961

done a month before, so I have enough

content and sometimes I even do more.

174

00:09:15,231 --> 00:09:19,072

So sometimes if I know I'm going

somewhere out, which may be which for

175

00:09:19,072 --> 00:09:22,542

reason I wouldn't be able to record

more episodes I do things like that.

176

00:09:23,112 --> 00:09:26,191

And yeah, so, so that

that's, that's how it works..

177

00:09:26,511 --> 00:09:30,616

So I record it before a month

and then post in the next

178

00:09:30,616 --> 00:09:31,846

month, which is coming up.

179

00:09:32,146 --> 00:09:32,386

Yeah.

180

00:09:32,836 --> 00:09:33,946

Dilip: So you batch produce it.

181

00:09:34,036 --> 00:09:34,366

Okay.

182

00:09:37,111 --> 00:09:37,801

Interesting.

183

00:09:37,801 --> 00:09:40,864

So coming back to your podcasting setup.

184

00:09:40,864 --> 00:09:43,046

So when you started off

how did you start off?

185

00:09:43,046 --> 00:09:46,646

What were the equipments that

you used from then till now two

186

00:09:46,646 --> 00:09:49,657

years since that you started the

podcast, did anything change?

187

00:09:49,987 --> 00:09:50,857

Have you evolved?

188

00:09:50,857 --> 00:09:52,567

What, what are the things that changed?

189

00:09:52,837 --> 00:09:56,421

So can you just tell me more

about that entire podcasting

190

00:09:56,421 --> 00:09:57,871

setup that you using today?

191

00:09:58,531 --> 00:09:58,911

Lakshit: Sure.

192

00:09:59,451 --> 00:10:03,232

So when I started, it was of course,

as I said, the person was shooting and

193

00:10:03,232 --> 00:10:05,592

recording on camera and I had a small mic.

194

00:10:06,242 --> 00:10:11,042

So that was first, the second, second

two episodes I'd done on camera.

195

00:10:11,042 --> 00:10:13,762

I had done on camera with a

small mic, which had a very basic

196

00:10:13,762 --> 00:10:15,902

audio quality and it was fine.

197

00:10:16,452 --> 00:10:18,635

So that was the first episode

I was shot first and second.

198

00:10:18,635 --> 00:10:24,006

And then we came to zoom where it was

like just just, just a laptop after,

199

00:10:24,006 --> 00:10:29,293

I think after the 20, 30 episodes I

got a mic and changed the location.

200

00:10:29,323 --> 00:10:30,553

I got a backdrop.

201

00:10:30,568 --> 00:10:35,068

And for now I have a backdrop, I

have a mic and I had a phone and

202

00:10:35,078 --> 00:10:36,418

a laptop where it is recorded in.

203

00:10:36,479 --> 00:10:39,059

And also I think in the, between

I had changed my location.

204

00:10:39,059 --> 00:10:43,338

I had used a headphone and mic and

I sat outdoors where there were

205

00:10:43,338 --> 00:10:46,268

less noise because it was lock down

and there was less traffic around.

206

00:10:46,278 --> 00:10:48,377

And so I was, I was able

to record much better than.

207

00:10:48,377 --> 00:10:52,199

And then of course, then I got the micand

I recorded in the mic and all of that..

208

00:10:52,739 --> 00:10:56,659

Now I have a mic, backdrop and a laptop,

which is recorded in and also a headphone.

209

00:10:56,719 --> 00:10:58,254

Yeah, so that's just set up as of now..

210

00:10:58,299 --> 00:10:58,655

Dilip: Okay.

211

00:10:59,015 --> 00:11:02,765

So a minimalist set up only what

you need is what are you using

212

00:11:03,035 --> 00:11:06,900

and is it a USB microphone or

do you use an audio interface?

213

00:11:06,915 --> 00:11:12,812

Lakshit: So it's a USB one, so it gets

directly connected with the laptop.

214

00:11:14,912 --> 00:11:15,242

Dilip: Okay.

215

00:11:16,352 --> 00:11:16,772

Okay.

216

00:11:16,822 --> 00:11:17,152

Good.

217

00:11:17,256 --> 00:11:18,676

So I think a lot of.

218

00:11:19,686 --> 00:11:21,466

Pieces that I handle.

219

00:11:21,466 --> 00:11:25,146

I understand from what you're doing

and ensuring that, you're managing

220

00:11:25,146 --> 00:11:29,826

so many things, but that's something

that we can all learn from you and at

221

00:11:29,826 --> 00:11:36,284

your age where, you know, if I look

back, I, I didn't even know what is

222

00:11:36,284 --> 00:11:39,344

it that I'm going to do with my life.

223

00:11:39,434 --> 00:11:42,734

And today you are somebody who

has a lot of things figured out.

224

00:11:43,134 --> 00:11:45,614

And you're pursuing it so consistently.

225

00:11:45,614 --> 00:11:49,514

And so judiciously it's,

it's worth appreciation.

226

00:11:49,874 --> 00:11:53,974

So before I let you go Lakshit, I want

to understand two things from you, one

227

00:11:54,052 --> 00:12:04,638

what is it that you would like to advise

every 17 year old out there, when it comes

228

00:12:04,638 --> 00:12:10,788

to the way you look at life and the way

you look at what your future is going

229

00:12:10,788 --> 00:12:13,308

to be first, I would like to know that.

230

00:12:13,308 --> 00:12:14,528

And then I come to the second question.

231

00:12:15,068 --> 00:12:15,418

Lakshit: Sure.

232

00:12:15,658 --> 00:12:20,330

So one advice to every 17 year old

or a 16 year old or 15 year old or

233

00:12:20,330 --> 00:12:24,590

anyone or anyone listening to this,

you don't have to have life figured out

234

00:12:24,920 --> 00:12:27,230

like me at a very, very early stage.

235

00:12:27,298 --> 00:12:30,958

Everything has its own

consequences has its own issues.

236

00:12:30,994 --> 00:12:33,484

If you're figuring out

things too late, it's okay.

237

00:12:33,494 --> 00:12:36,794

It's going to be it's it's everything has

its own time and it takes its own time.

238

00:12:37,264 --> 00:12:41,434

You're not able to, you won't be able

to be like Lakshit who's able to do

239

00:12:41,434 --> 00:12:45,964

these many things for maybe say various

reasons and various things you won't

240

00:12:45,964 --> 00:12:50,023

be able to do a lot of things which,

which everybody does, or maybe you

241

00:12:50,023 --> 00:12:54,013

won't be, you won't be good in studies

or maybe won't be good in an art form.

242

00:12:54,043 --> 00:12:54,963

Maybe it wouldn't be good.

243

00:12:55,037 --> 00:12:57,407

We're not good in both of them,

but you're good in sports.

244

00:12:57,407 --> 00:13:02,379

So it's just don't put the pressure

on you that you have to be and, prove

245

00:13:02,379 --> 00:13:08,859

yourself at a very, very early age on,

even, even if I have figured out things

246

00:13:08,859 --> 00:13:11,709

that say, had things figured out or 16.

247

00:13:12,159 --> 00:13:16,599

Now I do kind of have some conquences

because I don't really have a lot of

248

00:13:17,979 --> 00:13:22,989

time that I can be out and enjoy things

because I have things up already on me.

249

00:13:23,529 --> 00:13:27,699

If the podcasting is done and things are

completed, I have my company things to

250

00:13:27,699 --> 00:13:29,099

be handled and checked in how things are.

251

00:13:29,125 --> 00:13:32,497

And I I think it's very, very

less that I would go out and have

252

00:13:32,497 --> 00:13:34,177

some meal alone and all of that.

253

00:13:34,177 --> 00:13:38,437

Or maybe with friends and all of that,

it's very, very less, because most of the

254

00:13:38,437 --> 00:13:39,907

time I'm busy doing some other things.

255

00:13:40,897 --> 00:13:45,667

Most of the time, you know, like for me,

life has become like a, like a, would you

256

00:13:45,667 --> 00:13:50,077

say a calendar where I have to fix things

up before a week or a month, then only we

257

00:13:50,077 --> 00:13:52,067

can meet on that certain day or a certain.

258

00:13:52,067 --> 00:13:58,348

And for example, for this recording you,

as you, as I saw the calendar, the, the

259

00:13:58,378 --> 00:14:00,658

possible times it was in the morning.

260

00:14:00,658 --> 00:14:04,698

So I was so happy that we can do it the

morning because half of the other days..

261

00:14:05,608 --> 00:14:09,058

I'm busy with work and I can't even,

you know, come and leave it, come

262

00:14:09,328 --> 00:14:11,138

and sit in at a place and record it.

263

00:14:11,558 --> 00:14:14,408

So that's, that's how things have changed.

264

00:14:14,408 --> 00:14:14,588

So.

265

00:14:15,168 --> 00:14:19,538

Yeah, you won't find that fun or maybe

everything has its own consequences.

266

00:14:20,018 --> 00:14:21,728

Everything has its own

problems and issues.

267

00:14:21,728 --> 00:14:26,588

So my life would be looking all clear and

happy on, Instagram, on my YouTube videos

268

00:14:26,588 --> 00:14:29,918

that I'm speaking with people you have

seen on your television and speaking with

269

00:14:29,918 --> 00:14:33,578

people, you know, but I'm speaking with

people who have 10 million followers or

270

00:14:33,578 --> 00:14:38,558

20 million followers, but seeing that,

or maybe even people who are billionaires

271

00:14:38,558 --> 00:14:40,656

and millionaires or whatever, but you.

272

00:14:40,687 --> 00:14:44,977

You don't know the process, how it

goes back on finding them, bringing

273

00:14:44,977 --> 00:14:46,687

them the work i have to put in.

274

00:14:46,687 --> 00:14:48,437

the time I have to give and all of that.

275

00:14:48,467 --> 00:14:53,327

So understand it's, it's all a process

don't pressurize yourself for anything.

276

00:14:53,807 --> 00:14:56,027

You will find a way by yourself.

277

00:14:56,137 --> 00:14:57,107

Life is like that.

278

00:14:57,197 --> 00:14:59,384

You know we know nothing

about Covid a year back.

279

00:14:59,384 --> 00:15:01,556

a year and half back but we

now have vaccines for it.

280

00:15:02,036 --> 00:15:03,326

So it's just a process.

281

00:15:03,326 --> 00:15:03,896

It's just time.

282

00:15:03,896 --> 00:15:04,456

You'll find it.

283

00:15:04,523 --> 00:15:07,990

But by seeing that it doesn't that

okay, I'll find it and you'll live it.

284

00:15:07,990 --> 00:15:09,460

And you're going to worry about that.

285

00:15:09,570 --> 00:15:13,750

That also should not be attitude

of living, just think about what

286

00:15:13,750 --> 00:15:14,730

you're, what you're aiming for.

287

00:15:15,250 --> 00:15:19,277

And even if you want, you can take

it slow, but be a bit clear about

288

00:15:19,277 --> 00:15:20,507

the goal you're trying to have.

289

00:15:20,567 --> 00:15:24,196

That's it just don't be be like,

okay, now I'll enjoy my life.

290

00:15:24,206 --> 00:15:24,856

I'll study.

291

00:15:24,923 --> 00:15:26,909

And after completing studies,

we see what we have to.

292

00:15:26,999 --> 00:15:31,542

That will just put you, put you up in a

big, big mess because when you, when you

293

00:15:31,542 --> 00:15:35,742

are done all of that and when you studies

done, most of the people are unaware of

294

00:15:35,762 --> 00:15:40,122

what, what they wish to do, or they just

give up, give up on, don't give up on life

295

00:15:40,122 --> 00:15:41,922

and they think that life is not for them.

296

00:15:41,922 --> 00:15:42,642

And they give up on that.

297

00:15:43,332 --> 00:15:48,462

So just, but just have a clear

goal that this, this is what I

298

00:15:48,462 --> 00:15:49,782

do, and this is what I want to do.

299

00:15:50,202 --> 00:15:51,757

And yeah, that's it.

300

00:15:51,757 --> 00:15:52,777

So just find those.

301

00:15:52,871 --> 00:15:56,041

And just, just take things

slowly and steadily.

302

00:15:56,138 --> 00:16:00,276

If you can take it fast and things

will happen and you'll find a solution

303

00:16:00,276 --> 00:16:04,896

for every problem you have, but by

thinking on that properly, so yeah.

304

00:16:06,321 --> 00:16:06,741

Dilip: Okay.

305

00:16:06,901 --> 00:16:09,880

Good so the second piece that I

wanted to know, so for somebody who

306

00:16:09,880 --> 00:16:13,764

is starting off with a podcast and

I'm sure you would have had your

307

00:16:13,764 --> 00:16:15,804

own struggles when you started off.

308

00:16:16,224 --> 00:16:19,434

So for somebody who's starting off with

a podcast and today, when there is a

309

00:16:19,434 --> 00:16:25,734

lot of support that is available, What

will be two tips that you would like

310

00:16:25,734 --> 00:16:30,924

to share with somebody who's planning

to start a podcast or who's who has an

311

00:16:30,924 --> 00:16:33,414

idea that he's still contemplating on?

312

00:16:33,654 --> 00:16:35,484

If he really wants to start a podcast.

313

00:16:36,684 --> 00:16:39,439

Lakshit: So anybody person who had

the thought of doing it you would

314

00:16:39,439 --> 00:16:43,049

have surely have thought about

something and do surely have awonderful

315

00:16:43,324 --> 00:16:44,774

purpose behind the starting it.

316

00:16:44,794 --> 00:16:49,604

So in the first 10 or 20 episodes, you

will not find or build a the community

317

00:16:49,974 --> 00:16:53,664

or you're not going to have big, big,

huge audience base or a fan base, which

318

00:16:53,664 --> 00:16:56,981

is going to love you with the of course,

if you're popular or you have a very

319

00:16:56,981 --> 00:17:01,983

big group and all of that things will be

different, but if you don't, its okay.

320

00:17:02,078 --> 00:17:06,908

You will, you wouldn't be having

a, a thousand or a hundred listen

321

00:17:06,908 --> 00:17:11,228

for the first 10 or 20 episodes

you put, but it will come slowly.

322

00:17:11,228 --> 00:17:12,458

Steadily things will happen.

323

00:17:12,818 --> 00:17:13,968

We just don't pressurize yourself.

324

00:17:13,969 --> 00:17:17,739

Just, just keep creating constantly

think on what you're trying to create.

325

00:17:17,829 --> 00:17:21,728

And Th that would be my first tip that

just keep, keep constantly creating

326

00:17:21,769 --> 00:17:23,501

you know, meeting and talking.

327

00:17:23,530 --> 00:17:27,280

And it's podcasting as a way of

creating content is very easy.

328

00:17:27,430 --> 00:17:32,060

We could just sit anywhere and just

hold your phone and record it you

329

00:17:32,080 --> 00:17:33,461

can just do, you know, it's easy.

330

00:17:33,461 --> 00:17:35,871

You don't have to put a lot of work in it.

331

00:17:35,871 --> 00:17:40,696

Of course, for people like me and say

Dilip, who aretrying to do something.

332

00:17:40,946 --> 00:17:43,716

We'll have to, find guests and

read about them, know about them,

333

00:17:44,376 --> 00:17:47,046

listen to their work and art

piece in whatever they're doing.

334

00:17:47,526 --> 00:17:53,336

So, but if you, if you are, if you're

a poet who wishes to a tell your poetry

335

00:17:53,676 --> 00:17:56,916

in a way of podcasting, I think then you

don't have to require much work, but you

336

00:17:56,916 --> 00:17:59,306

just have to write a poem and record it.

337

00:17:59,906 --> 00:18:03,131

That's easy, easy way of creating content.

338

00:18:03,401 --> 00:18:05,111

So just, just keep on creating.

339

00:18:05,591 --> 00:18:09,251

I don't listen to anyone people around

and yes, there's the second one would be

340

00:18:09,251 --> 00:18:12,041

don't listen to people around you because

not, everybody knows about podcasting.

341

00:18:12,041 --> 00:18:13,011

It's a new, new thing.

342

00:18:13,011 --> 00:18:15,529

Not everybody understand it, what

it is and what you're trying to do.

343

00:18:15,949 --> 00:18:20,359

So just make them for parents or

anyone who's asking, try to make

344

00:18:20,359 --> 00:18:23,929

them understand, tell them what it

is, what you're trying to do, but

345

00:18:23,929 --> 00:18:26,579

even if they're not understanding and

trying to tell, you no, that nothing

346

00:18:26,719 --> 00:18:27,679

is going to happen and all of that.

347

00:18:28,189 --> 00:18:33,299

Just leave it, don't react to it

because we know reaction does nothing.

348

00:18:33,299 --> 00:18:37,019

Reaction just creates and

know fight and all of that.

349

00:18:37,019 --> 00:18:40,589

It's not going to be good for anyone

or will make no sense at all because

350

00:18:40,589 --> 00:18:42,249

they don't know properly about it.

351

00:18:42,599 --> 00:18:46,169

So first is constantly keep

creating because podcasting is

352

00:18:46,169 --> 00:18:47,579

a lazy way creating content.

353

00:18:48,019 --> 00:18:53,229

And second don't hear to people near

you because they really don't know.

354

00:18:53,379 --> 00:18:57,009

They always doesn't know about,

they don't know everything.

355

00:18:57,369 --> 00:18:58,089

So it's okay.

356

00:18:58,149 --> 00:19:00,609

That surely they have all right.

357

00:19:00,609 --> 00:19:02,119

To tell you, listen to them.

358

00:19:02,151 --> 00:19:04,701

And then it comes to you,

if you wish to do it or not.

359

00:19:04,791 --> 00:19:05,601

So that's it.

360

00:19:05,691 --> 00:19:05,871

Yeah.

361

00:19:06,981 --> 00:19:07,371

Dilip: Okay.

362

00:19:08,211 --> 00:19:08,661

Great.

363

00:19:08,871 --> 00:19:09,831

Nice tips.

364

00:19:10,521 --> 00:19:10,881

Okay.

365

00:19:10,881 --> 00:19:13,490

So that was a very

interesting conversation.

366

00:19:13,490 --> 00:19:14,870

There's a lot that we can learn from you.

367

00:19:15,635 --> 00:19:18,635

Like what I said, you know, it's worth

appreciation that you're looking at.

368

00:19:18,635 --> 00:19:21,095

So many different things,

managing so many different things.

369

00:19:21,665 --> 00:19:24,839

And you know, I, I sincerely

loved some of the conversations

370

00:19:24,839 --> 00:19:25,979

that you had with your guests.

371

00:19:26,080 --> 00:19:28,360

You know, there was this

author that I was listening to.

372

00:19:28,360 --> 00:19:29,080

I think it was Shobha.

373

00:19:29,097 --> 00:19:29,887

Shobha Narayan.

374

00:19:29,932 --> 00:19:32,002

So that is a very

interesting conversation.

375

00:19:32,009 --> 00:19:36,957

Then I also listened to a teacher he was

talking about, how that profession is

376

00:19:36,957 --> 00:19:40,447

considered more of a feminine profession.

377

00:19:40,497 --> 00:19:44,217

So some of these conversations have

been very interesting, very inspiring.

378

00:19:44,312 --> 00:19:48,152

And the conversation with you today

has also been extremely inspiring.

379

00:19:48,152 --> 00:19:52,262

So thanks a lot for joining me

on the show and talking to me and

380

00:19:52,262 --> 00:19:53,972

giving these tips to the audience.

381

00:19:54,632 --> 00:19:54,952

I.

382

00:19:55,842 --> 00:20:00,512

Look forward to many, many episodes

of Multipurpose with Lakshit.

383

00:20:00,532 --> 00:20:01,752

And I wish you all the success.

384

00:20:02,112 --> 00:20:03,402

Thanks a lot for coming on this show.

385

00:20:03,892 --> 00:20:04,252

Lakshit: Thank you.

386

00:20:04,272 --> 00:20:07,602

Thank you very much and wish you

the same, a wonderful initiative.

387

00:20:07,602 --> 00:20:08,752

The Podcasting University.

388

00:20:08,802 --> 00:20:11,322

You're helping people create podcasts

and, you know, help people with

389

00:20:11,722 --> 00:20:13,122

understand about podcast and all of that.

390

00:20:13,122 --> 00:20:13,842

It's wonderful.

391

00:20:13,842 --> 00:20:14,782

The idea is wonderful.

392

00:20:14,798 --> 00:20:18,289

I also hope to you and yeah,

thank you very much for having me.

393

00:20:18,289 --> 00:20:19,929

It's a pleasure that I was able to.

394

00:20:20,504 --> 00:20:23,864

Of course, maybe I don't know how much

value were able to create an impact

395

00:20:23,864 --> 00:20:28,874

here, but really glad that you, you

listen to me and I'm glad that maybe

396

00:20:28,874 --> 00:20:33,524

we were able to create a very small

impact on someone through something.

397

00:20:33,524 --> 00:20:35,054

So thank you very much.

398

00:20:35,054 --> 00:20:35,354

Thank you.

399

00:20:36,214 --> 00:20:39,904

Dilip: It was it, wasn't an excellent

of very fruitful conversation,

400

00:20:39,904 --> 00:20:41,344

a lot of information Lakshit.

401

00:20:41,366 --> 00:20:42,675

So it was nice.

402

00:20:42,724 --> 00:20:43,562

So thanks.
