The Podcasting University – How to Start a Podcast!

This is Dilip and I am the host of the show “The Podcasting University”.
Now, if you are new here then let me give you a brief of what “The Podcasting University” is all about.
Before that, let me take guess.
You came here through a mention about this website on my podcast or, you were sent here through a referral. But in both the scenarios, I am assuming you are here to know more about “Podcasting” and “Starting a Podcast”.
So first things first.
The show, “The Podcasting University” is a show that is targeted towards anybody and everybody who is looking to “start a podcast”, especially in India.
But it is not exclusively for India. Because the techniques, tips and training is pretty much the same, irrespective of what part of the world you are in.
What to Expect – Starting a podcast
I understand, Internet is full of information. And you don’t need another website to tell you what and how to start a podcast.
And hence, it becomes imperative to know, what different can “The Podcasting University” offer.
Here are just a few things you can expect from the show –
- The show is about podcasting tips and tricks that are simple and Implementable.
- We will be covering everything from the very basics to the most advanced aspects in podcasting.
- We will also be interviewing other Podcasters, who went through the grind, defied odds and started their own podcasts, to learn what not to do and what to do.
- We will be inviting guests from Podcast related service providers who can help you in starting a podcast. We will know from them what they have to offer to a new podcaster and also learn about what to expect from the podcasting industry
- and finally, we will also be speaking to experts to learn the “tricks of the trade”
Now, onto what can you expect differently here.
The goal of most podcasters is to “Make Money” from their podcasts. There might be a few other who are out there to podcast, as a hobby and that is why the emphasis in the above sentence was on “most podcasters”.
For people who want to do it as a hobby, you will get quite a lot of resources here to get eyeballs for your show (Should that be ears?).
For people who are looking to make money, we will have a few tricks to monetize your show and make money out of it.
And then we will have a few more.
But to know that, you will have to listen to the show.
